In idyllic Allgäu, Milz Bieber Health Clinic occupies a historic stately home. In 1900, master cheesemaker Meinrad Milz engaged artisans from Venice to help realize his vision: he sought to bring the grandeur of Venetian architecture to the green hills of Germany. The result was Villa Thal.

One century later, the cheesemaker’s great grandson Dr. Meinrad Milz, and his spouse Dr. Katrin Bieber, have reopened the estate and given it new life as the Milz Bieber Health Clinic. Carefully restored to its Venetian splendor, Villa Thal – along with its surrounding parks and gardens – offers a remarkable oasis for patients from across the globe.
